Job Objective:

Responsible for creating, developing, and publishing Eisenhower Health Foundation written materials (print/digital). Utilizes exceptional writing and proofreading skills to support the Communications Director in executing Foundation communications. Assists with project coordination and administrative tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • Creates, edits, and proofreads reports, marketing materials, and recognition content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with AP style.
  • Supports the Communications Director in crafting strategic donor written communications that strengthen relationships and engagement.
  • Creates compelling content for digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency with the Foundations brand and mission.
  • Reviews presentations, proposals, and event materials for professionalism and accuracy.
  • Provides communication support for Foundation events, donor visits, and special campaigns.
  • Confidently interacts with donors and leadership, ensuring messaging is professional and impactful.
  • Ensures naming opportunities and donor recognition projects are properly produced, installed and maintained.
  • Collaborates with designers, vendors, and facilities to coordinate signage and recognition materials.
  • Conducts research on fundraising trends and donor engagement strategies to support content development.
  • Gathers and analyses data to incorporate into reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Oversees the production, organization, and inventory of print and digital materials, ensuring timely availability.
  • Tracks project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring smooth execution of communication initiatives.
  • Maintains and organizes photo, logo, and donor files, ensuring accessibility and consistency.
  • Assists the Communications Director with scheduling, supply management, and coordination of communication projects.
  • Processes purchase orders, invoices, and check requests for expenses.
  • Assists with video and photography assignments, providing visual content for communications materials.
  • Helps manage multi-phase projects and competing priorities, ensuring communications remain effective and timely.
  • Provides backup support for key functions typically handled by other team members, ensuring continuity in communications efforts.

Essential Skils:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to proof high-quality materials ensuring accuracy and branding alignment
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving ability to manage unexpected challenges with diplomacy and efficiency
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
