  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • Under general supervision, produces visuals including videos, computer slides and photographs (digital) for the medical center. Operates camera during production and edits after production. Installs, maintains and upgrades audiovisual equipment. Handles video coordination, archiving and maintenance, working closely with other members of the marketing department.

  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Oversees creative video production and ensures all jobs meet system standards, deadlines and budget; provides support/direction on design issues requested throughout the system.
    • Accountable for adhering to tight budgets and for providing excellent quality on all material.
    • Works with marketing and public relations management team to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans to support clinical areas, ancillary programs and the system as a whole, identifying appropriate methods, tools, budgets and vehicles to achieve plan goals. Actively participates and provides input to other team members. Work efficiently and cooperatively with web master to ensure successful posting of videos on organization’s intranet site and elsewhere online as appropriate.
    • Accountable for continual education in regards to learning and understanding the current market situation for the system and all of its divisions that require services from the marketing department. Responsible for having in-depth knowledge of video production to ensure the best overall product.
    • Communicates as appropriate with freelance agencies, photographers, illustrators, designers and Mac consultant contacts, adhering to all budgets and providing professional high-quality products.
    • Works directly with the vice president of marketing on building and maintaining a working relationship with the system’s creative team and other contracted consultants as appropriate.
    • Production manager duties include maintaining good picture and audio quality and directing to create visually appealing backdrops, props, graphics and music.
    • Maintains library of completed projects that can be accessed Marketing and Public Relations staff for use or for archival review.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
