  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • The Integration Analysts are the primary support contact for the interfaces they are assigned to. Integration analysts coordinate the analysis and all issue triage necessary to implement and support their assigned interfaces. Working closely with the Senior Integration Analysts, Technical Manager, application teams, and technical teams, they ensure that interfaces meet the needs of the end-users.

  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: Relevant degree or experience in lieu of degree (see below)
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
    • Licensure/Certification
      • Must obtain Epic certification in relevant module(s) within 3 months of employment date.
    • Experience
      • Required: 4 years of healthcare or technology related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree
      • Required: 6 months of healthcare or technology related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Manages the entire cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support.
    • Determines the business needs for interfaces, documents the requirements, and configures the interfaces per the specification.
    • Works closely with the application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues, and participates in their projects as needed.
    • Coordinates various interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts, vendors, and interface engine developers.
    • Works with interface engine developers to develop data-translation routines and methods to support Epic’s and external systems’ data and format needs.
    • Provides support with interface projects, working with the Technical Manager and Senior Integration Analysts to ensure that results are achieved and deadlines are met.
    • Provides proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to provide permanent resolutions to problems.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
