  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • The Lead Ultrasound Technologist duties include knowledge of all invasive and noninvasive US procedures. The Lead US tech will have operating knowledge of all Ultrasound equipment and computer based systems. The Lead US Tech will be responsible for supervision of employees, timekeeping, scheduling and ordering supplies.

  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Ability to perform all invasive and noninvasive US procedures, diagnostic US imaging, portable exams and Nicolet Vascular Lab exams.
    • Responsible for supervision of employees, timekeeping, scheduling and ordering supplies.
    • Coordinates patient and staff flow along with Radiologists and department nurses for invasive procedures.
    • The Lead will be responsible regarding all charges exams with Ultrasound billing system and reviewall the CPT codes yearly.
    • Contact service applicable service when critical equipment is in need of repair.
    • Responsible for calling in proper personnel when necessary.
    • Organizes work breaks and lunch periods.
    • Responsible for Quality Control.
    • Perform other duties as needed.
