  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • Responsible for coordinating with outside consultants and gathering the required information for preparation of the annual Medicare Cost Reports, annual and quarterly OSHPD reporting and any other reimbursement related reporting.  Responsible for analyzing other variances as requested.

      • Required: Three (3) years Financial/Business Analyst experience and two (2) years of healthcare experience
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Acts as central contact and source of information and support for the Medicare Cost report and all reimbursement related inquiries and audits.
    • Works in collaboration with outside reimbursement consultants for the preparation and submission of the annual Medicare cost report. Acts as the primary source of data and information required for this report.
    • Works in collaboration with outside reimbursement consultants for the preparation of our monthly reserve analysis.
    • Responsible for gathering data, compiling, preparing the quarterly and annual OSHPD reporting, and all other annual payor reporting as required (Medi-Cal, Tricare, etc).
    • Responsible for creating reports, analyzing data, and providing conclusions in response to ad hoc inquiries from leadership. Must regularly use independent judgment in determining appropriate reporting, analysis, and conclusions.
    • Responsible for researching and analyzing data for, and writing portions of, the monthly variance reports as assigned.
    • Responsbile for gathering and sharing data with responsible parties for the QAF program.
    • Responsible for administering the Capital approval tracking process in StrataJazz and assist with capital spend reporting as needed.
    • Responsible for responding to government and organizational surveys as required.
    • Assists in performing Due Diligence on proposed capital purchases on an ad hoc basis.
    • Provide assistance/backup to peers, consultants, auditors, etc.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
