  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • The RN-Program Manager Cardiac Service Line Operations supports the core functions of the cardiovascular service line to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care
    • Is responsible for collaborating with key organizational and external stakeholders to improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of operations through the provision of effective project management, operations management, and process improvement strategies and methods
    • Will implement, administer, and support assigned business systems under the guidance of senior members of the team

    • CAO / Administrator Cardiovascular Service Line

    • Team members that are part of these programs and projects within the service line, and others on an ad hoc status dependent upon the project

  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: BSN
    • Licensure/Certification
      • CA RN License 
    • Experience
      • Required: Two to four years in healthcare related positions with at least one in a supervisory role
      • Required: At least one year in a cardiovascular setting
      • Preferred: Supervisory experience in an ambulatory or inpatient cardiovascular setting
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Acts as a liaison between assigned departments, clinical end users.
    • Assists in the coordination and maintenance of all current systems for assigned departments.
    • Analyzes current systems and processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, provider productivity, financial outcomes and ancillary relations or cost savings.
    • Identify and assist with planning for, and developing, department-specific requirements for future product acquisitions.
    • Performs written and oral project status reporting on a regular basis as requested.
    • Provides technical assistance and support to expert users.
    • Troubleshoots issues and document for vendor resolution.
    • Will address issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity and deliver clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows across the organization.
    • Coordinate support with other teams as needed across the organization.
    • Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department's policies and procedures.
    • Provide solutions to work orders, trouble tickets and projects for assigned departments.
    • Will also help lead various projects regarding revenue capture, cost efficiency, supply chain initiatives within the service line.
    • Will also help lead capital & construction projects within the service line.
    • Will provide analytical and financial support to operational areas within the service line with a focus on the development of reports that promote effective decision making.
    • Will be assigned to projects and activities that involve stakeholders from several departments.
    • Works with very large databases to complete and provide analytical and program support for a variety of services.
    • Will lead complex program audits or assessments and assist with regulatory readiness.
    • Manages service line staff that are part of these programs and projects, and others on an ad hoc status dependent upon the project.
    • Assume administrative tasks to support management as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
