  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • The position is responsible for coordinating and tracking quality events within the Urgent Care Locations, abstracts clinical cases and provides appropriate follow-up with the Urgent Care Providers.

  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: BSN 

      • Preferred: MSN

    • Licensure/Certification
      • Required: California RN License; American Heart Association BLS 

    • Experience
      • Required: Minimum 3 years as a RN, including at least 1 year in an Urgent Care, Quality setting or relevant  experience.

      • Preferred: Computer experience of 3 years, including familiarity with database, word processing and report writing. 
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Follows up and investigates radiology discrepancies and follow up recommendations.
    • Follows up and intervention of positive culture reports and maintains logs.

    • Follows up on customer service complaints in collaboration with RN-Practice Manager, Patient Relations and Medical Director as appropriate.

    • Acts as liaison between the Quality Department and Urgent Care locations.

    • Facilitates and provides follow up information on Incident Reports from Urgent Care locations, as needed.

    • Maintains positive interpersonal relations with peers, patients, families and providers.

    • Actively participates and follows Urgent Care "Call Back Policy"

    • Creates and presents quality metrics related to quality and incident findings

    • Performs other duties as assigned
