The position is responsible for coordinating and tracking quality events within the Urgent Care Locations, abstracts clinical cases and provides appropriate follow-up with the Urgent Care Providers.

Required: BSN

Preferred: MSN

Required: California RN License; American Heart Association BLS

Experience
-
Required: Minimum 3 years as a RN, including at least 1 year in an Urgent Care, Quality setting or relevant experience.

Preferred: Computer experience of 3 years, including familiarity with database, word processing and report writing.

Essential Responsibilities
-
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
-
Follows up and investigates radiology discrepancies and follow up recommendations.
-
Follows up and intervention of positive culture reports and maintains logs.
-
Follows up on customer service complaints in collaboration with RN-Practice Manager, Patient Relations and Medical Director as appropriate.

Acts as liaison between the Quality Department and Urgent Care locations.

Facilitates and provides follow up information on Incident Reports from Urgent Care locations, as needed.
-
Maintains positive interpersonal relations with peers, patients, families and providers.
-
Actively participates and follows Urgent Care "Call Back Policy"

Creates and presents quality metrics related to quality and incident findings
