  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • Responsible for the supervision of all retail staff. Ensures prompt and efficient services to all customers in the retail space. Oversees stocking, inventory, stock rotation, cleanliness and effective hygiene practices in the retail space. Assists the Retail Manager with daily accounting paperwork, digital signage, marketing, promotions, safe audits, uploading daily sales, cashier audits and any other duties pertaining to the effective operation of the account.

  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or GED

    • Licensure/Certification
      • Required: Current Riverside County Food Handler’s Card or Current Serve Safe

    • Experience
      • Required: 5 years of retail experience
        Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Assists in the selection of employees and oversees training of staff in areas of responsibility.
    • When working closing shift making sure all items are stocked and faced
    • Be able to listen to coworker’s feedback Positive/Negative
    • Able to take initiative on a daily basis
    • Ensures proper staffing is scheduled and/or available to perform daily activities in areas of responsibility.
    • Coordinates and oversees that daily and weekly activities/tasks are performed by staff in areas of responsibility.
    • Ensure that all required products are order and delivered in a timely manner
    • Ensures that department is properly opened and closed per departmental security policies.
    • Communicates any retail related problems/concerns to appropriate personnel, in a timely manner following departmental procedures.
    • Communicates any product shortage to appropriate personal
    • Interacts with management/Employees to ensure guest needs are met.
    • Exhibits pleasant and cheerful demeanor and maintains a helpful attitude towards employees, physicians, patients, and visitors.
    • Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient’s rights policy as outlined in the facility’s HIPAA policies and procedures.
    • Contributes customer satisfaction goals by providing quality service.
    • Wears name tag identification.
    • Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state
    • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
    • Maintains a clean, sanitary working environment.                                                                
    • Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving, assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
    • Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per SDS sheets.
    • Utilizes equipment in performing job functions according to department’s safety procedures.
    • Follows facility, department, Morrison and Compass safety policies and procedures to include incident reporting.
    • Follows facility and departmental infection control policies and procedures.
    • Follows the facility’s protocols for Hazardous Materials and Waste Program.
    • Reads and complies with all policies and procedures of Morrison and Compass as appropriate.
    • Performs other tasks as may be assigned.
    • Makes sure employees finish all assigned tasks.
    • Follow all cash handling procedures (safe audits, cashier audits)
    • Coordinates with Retail Manager on strategies to accomplish production and maintain quality standards.
    • Must be able to perform service recovery
    • Cleans and restocks work area throughout the day. Maintains standards for sanitation and cleanliness by following standards for “clean as you go” and scheduled routine cleaning
    • Cleaning duties could include, but are not limited to: equipment, utensils, dining area, floors, walls, and storage areas.
    • Assists in proper labeling, dating, and rotation of product in dry storage, and coolers.
    • Assists in maintaining organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products.
    • Attends training and development classes and work site meetings as required by Coffee Shop Retail manager
    • Assists in the cross training of employees as required by Coffee Shop Retail manager
    • Wears the prescribed uniform & maintains a professional appearance at all times.
    • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
    • Be involved in staff accountability through upholding standards, Documentation, and performance meetings with staff.
    • Other duties as assigned.
