Experience:

Required: Three (3) years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, community engagement or not-for-profit organization development
Preferred: Healthcare experience

Job Objective:

Plays a critical role in advancing philanthropic stewardship by managing donor communications, pulling and analyzing giving data, and executing annual giving initiatives to support reaching the Foundation’s annual goal. Requires advanced Microsoft Excel and writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering a high level of donor stewardship. Communicates with donors in a thoughtful, grateful, and professional manner.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations
  • Works in partnership with the Sr. Director of Annual Giving to manage and execute annual giving strategic campaigns, appeals, and donor communications across multiple channels.
  • Maintains accurate donor records and reports using the Foundation’s CRM system for documenting charity event donations for gift processing; utilizes advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables to ensure accurate donation management records.
  • Conduct donor and prospect research to support segmentation, targeting, and stewardship strategies.
  • Research, write, and edit newsletter articles, impact stories, email blasts, acknowledgments, and other donor facing content.
  • Communicate directly with donors by phone, email, and written correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Researches key performance indicators for Annual Giving reports.
  • Ensure complete accuracy in data entry, reporting, and donor recognition.
  • Tracks renewals against monthly goals and supports retention initiatives to support achievement of annual fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • Conceptualizes social media content creation in collaboration with Senior Director and liaise with Foundation Marketing and Eisenhower Health Marketing teams for creation, production and release of content.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Essential Skils:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of donor databases, reporting and data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis including pivot tables, Vlookups
  • Attention to detail with multiple processes and priorities
  • Ability to communicate positively, professional and effectively with others in writing and when speaking
  • Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e., computer, printer, scanner, telephone, etc.)
  • Well organized and confident to work independently but is also a team player
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
