Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree

Licensure/Certification:

Required: N/A

Experience:

Required: Three (3) years of HR experience or system administration experience in healthcare setting
Preferred: Experience using Workday HCM and HCM system functional design, configuration and implementation

Job Objective:

Analyzes, maintains and supports the software systems used in the Human Resources department. Implements Programs and applications related to HR functions across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • With department leaders, analyzes, creates, updates and assigns initial, department specific and annual/biennial competencies for all employees.
  • Creates and maintains Skills and Competency libraries.
  • Originates business process documentation and performs system training to new leaders and validators.
  • Analyzes and develops compliance reporting.
  • Supports HR staff with Hospital audits for Joint Commission and State of California.
  • Produces and maintains program schedules ensuring all employees receive evaluations and mandatory training.
  • Troubleshoots issues with the system and collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve.
  • Creates, analyzes and distributes reporting to ensure compliance.
  • Monitors and resolves issues around daily integrations from outside vendors into Workday.
  • Troubleshoots and assists HR staff with process and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Monitors information needs and designs/redesigns current process providing efficiency improvements.
  • Schedules and maintains reporting as required.
  • Routinely audits various systems and interfaces from external systems to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Reviews and maintains protocols and documentations for inconsistencies.
  • Assists HR staff and partners with projects as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skils:

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) and HR information systems
  • Ability to establish/maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and ability to organize efforts around helping to create a positive experience
  • Strong Data Analysis, Customer Service, Problem Solving
