Job Objective:

Supports and assists in the efficient operation of fundraising efforts for the Foundation Department of Eisenhower Health. Acts as an integral part of the Foundation team, working to maintain accurate data. Processes and enters gifts into the database while upholding the highest level of communication with our donors.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • Authors content for acknowledgment letters, reports and various published pieces.
  • Processes all incoming donations into the donor database; processes complex gifts including, but not limited to, stock transactions, wire transfers, and realized planned gifts as needed. 
  • Verifies donor details, identifies and resolves data discrepancies.
  • Updates donor records, including contact and demographic data.
  • Generates timely and accurate donor acknowledgements.
  • Communicates with donors in a manner that inspires them and thanks them for their gifts.

Essential Skils:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to prioritize work and responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary in dealing with donors, Trustees, public, volunteers, Executive Leadership, all hospital personnel and all department staff members
  • Must be able to work in a quick paced environment with the ability to seek out information to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Must have experience on personal computers and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Microsoft Outlook Experience with Raiser’s Edge software is desirable, but not required, however, must be willing to learn within the first three months of employment by internal or possible external training as needed
