Job Objective:
Works under the supervision of the Lead-Maintenance Mechanic and Manager-Facilities for general work assignments and guidance. Responsible for moving a variety of furniture, appliances and packed boxes around the health system. Responsible for driving a box truck between hospital locations and warehouse(s) and loading/unloading the truck.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Moves a variety of furniture, appliances and packed boxes around the health system.
- Drives a box truck between hospital locations and warehouse.
- Loads and unloads the truck.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment, ensures necessary department supplies are up to par, and does an accurate and timely department documentation.
- Communicates with supervisor and end user when undue delays / conflicts occur in performing repair work.
- Assumes responsibility of any assigned work request to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Contacts supervisor if any outside assistance is needed.
- Completes all logs and work request documentation
