This position is responsible for providing work direction and oversight of Argyros CPTs, including safety, patient care, and customer service. This position also manages patient and specimen workflow on a daily basis to ensure efficiency and timeliness of patient care. The Lead CPT performs and is proficient in all aspects of the CPT role.

Essential Responsibilities
-
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.

Plans, coordinates, and organizes daily tasks. Regularly checks and monitors the group’s performance and takes corrective action when projects get off track.

Provides guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to other (the team) to achieving best practice services, aligned with Eisenhower’s customer service expectations.

Makes assignments and distributes workload; manages day-to-day work flow within a group or unit; reports to manager or supervisor regarding completion of work flow.

Coordinates, implements, and oversee the work of the team assigned to a specific project including identification of assignments and responsibility, establishing work deadlines for project team members and coordinating completion of activities.

Monitors staff safety(sharps handling and disposal) and handwashing

Complies with all CAP, OSHA, state and federal regulations

Keeps supervisor informed and up-to-date at all times. Provides verbal and written reports as requested.
