Essential Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations
- Interprets rhythm strips accurately
- Documents rhythm strips according to existing hospital guidelines
- Communicates to oncoming shift a review of patients rhythm, rate, dysrhythmias, alarms
- Communicates events in a timely manner: i.e.: all rhythm/rate changes, and dysrhythmias, and or issues with telemetry readings (i.e.: leads off, low battery, loss of signal, poor wave form, etc.) to RN
- Documents events in the EMR
- Activate “Code Blue” for a lethal arrhythmia
