Essential Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Manages reception desk functions; provides a warm welcome/farewell to all who enter/leave assigned department or center; manages the sign-in/out log.
- Maintains lobby/reception and common areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensures patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ensures all patients/guests receive orientation to the building including: all clinical resources as needed; educational and conference opportunities; availability of applicable common areas.
- Manages patient/guest non-clinical requests in a timely professional manner ensuring positive outcomes.
- Evaluates non-clinical situations requiring attention using sound problem solving skills to resolve.
- Assists in identification of possible risk issues and coordinates with leadership for appropriate resolution.
- Assists leadership with non-clinical performance improvement initiatives.
- Cross trains to cover other support duties in assigned area, if applicable.
- Answers phone lines and routes to appropriate department, if applicable.
- Schedules patients for procedures and enters patient procedures and charge codes in computer, if applicable.
- Assists leader with administrative tasks (personnel records, work orders, etc.), if applicable.
