Job Objective:
Under the direct supervision of a physical, occupational or speech therapist, assists with support activities in the provision of patient care. Responsible for support activities including patient transportation, equipment maintenance, supplies, inventory, and office assistance.

Education:
Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
Licensure/Certification:
Required: American Heart Association BLS
Experience:
Preferred: Aide or volunteer experience in rehabilitation service
Essential Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Provides effective therapy treatment support activities as delegated by the therapist and in compliance with hospital licensing and accreditation standards and in compliance with the Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy Practice Acts.
- Maintains equipment and appearance of the treatment areas.
- Performs office tasks and maintains supply inventory as assigned.
- Provides thorough, timely, legible, and consistent patient care documentation as appropriate.
- Utilizes all resources to assist with patient flow as applicable, including but not limited to printing forms, scheduling patients, etc..
- Participates in special department programs as assigned.
- Facilitates interdisciplinary communication and coordination to maximize patient outcomes.
- Responds positively, appropriately, and in a timely fashion to all communications including patients, co-workers, supervisors, other departments, physicians, etc..

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
