Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification:
Required: Current Riverside County Food Handler’s Card or Current Serve Safe
Experience:
Required: Two (2) years of restaurant or food service experience
Preferred: Supervisory experience
Job Objective:
Enhances customer relations using positive service, oriented interactions. Acts as resource to the nutritional services team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Answers phones within three rings using dept scripting
- Ensures all positions are covered and employees on task
- Maintains workable knowledge of all department schedules and routes
- Prepares project assignments, schedules, safety tips and daily assignments
- Completes daily patient meal rounds.
- Ensures proper food handling procedures are being followed
- Ensures sanitation standards are being met
- Completes QI /PI documentation
- Verifies cash drawers and safe daily
- Ensures retail areas are clean, stocked and ready for customers
- Ensures all food in all service areas are within department standards.
- Coaches employees.
- Completes in-services for employees on annual requirements
- Performs all other duties assigned.
