Palm Springs Pride returns November 3-5, 2023 for a weekend celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community in the Coachella Valley. As a leading health care provider in the region, Eisenhower Health is excited to participate and support this amazing annual event.
Eisenhower Health has a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The organization values and supports employees, patients and community members from all walks of life.
Since 2013, Eisenhower Health has earned top performer in the health care equality index survey from the human rights campaign foundation. This highlights Eisenhower Health’s policies and practices aimed at ensuring LGBTQIA+ individuals receive equitable and knowledgeable care.
Eisenhower Health’s Participation in Pride Events
To continue this mission, Eisenhower Health is getting involved with Palm Springs Pride 2023 in the following ways:
- A contingent of Eisenhower Health nurses, doctors and staff will march in the Pride Parade on Sunday, November 5th.
- Eisenhower Health will host an information booth at the Pride Festival. Staff will be available to answer questions, provide resources and show support.
- Marketing materials like banners and signs will reinforce Eisenhower Health’s commitment to serving the LGBTQIA+ community year-round.
A special highlight at Palm Springs Pride 2023 will be the participation of Eisenhower Health’s recruitment team. Recruiters will be at the Eisenhower booth on Saturday, November 4th during the Pride Festival. The team is thrilled to attend and interact with prospective candidates from the LGBTQIA+ community. They are eager to share Eisenhower Health’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, as well as advocate for equitable treatment and opportunities for LGBTQIA+ employees. With a large presence at Pride, the recruitment team aims to attract dedicated talent passionate about Eisenhower Health’s values of acceptance and belonging. They look forward to meaningful conversations, forging connections, and representing Eisenhower Health as a welcoming workplace for all.
Showing Support for the LGBTQIA+ Community
Through participation and sponsorship, Eisenhower Health aims to send a clear message – that the organization stands proudly with the LGBTQIA+ community and cares about its health and wellbeing. Eisenhower Health is also the health and wellness partner of the LGBTQIA+ Community Center of the Desert.
The Palm Springs Pride Festival and Parade bring together thousands from across the region and beyond. Eisenhower Health is thrilled to take part in the iconic Coachella Valley tradition this November.

In our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace, we have implemented a range of initiatives aimed at supporting our LGBTQIA+ team members. Recognizing the significance of inclusive benefits, we extend our health insurance and family leave policies to cover LGBTQIA+ families and partners. We are deeply committed to mental health support, offering resources specifically tailored to the LGBTQIA+ community, acknowledging and addressing the distinct challenges faced by individuals within this group. Moreover, we actively promote LGBTQIA+ leadership within our organization, encouraging individuals from this community to take on leadership roles.
In our pursuit of a more inclusive society, we also engage in external partnerships by collaborating with LGBTQIA+ advocacy organizations and support groups. These partnerships enable us to strengthen our ties with the community and contribute positively to the broader LGBTQIA+ movement.
