  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
    • This position’s primary responsibility is to provide analytical and financial support to the operational areas within the Medical Center with a focus on the development of reports that promote effective decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills as (s)he will be involved in various physician committees involving cost containment initiatives. This individual will assist in the maintenance of the Medical Center’s costing and analytics system (StrataJazz) and be involved in the cost development process. Close interaction with Quality, Information Systems, and Finance staff will be required.

  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
    • Licensure/Certification
      • N/A
    • Experience
      • Required: 3 years accounting/finance/business analytic experience.
      • Preferred: 5+ years’ experience with Healthcare background.
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
    • Assist with the accurate reporting and maintenance of various management tools/systems used for operational review and improvement. This includes systems such as the labor management system, budgeting/financial reporting system, costing/decision support system, capital/long range planning system.
    • Work with senior analysts in developing, coordinating and continually improving assigned operational areas within the organization.
    • Responsible for creating reports, analyzing data, and providing conclusions in response to ad hoc inquiries from leadership. Must regularly use independent judgment in determining appropriate reporting, analysis, and conclusions.
    • Supports the annual costing process including cost development drivers.
    • Assists in performing Due Diligence on proposed ventures on an ad hoc basis.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
