Essential Responsibilities
-
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
-
Disburses linen to ancillary and patient care areas on a daily basis.
-
Maintains adequate linen inventory in patient care and ancillary areas in the hospital on a daily basis.
-
Maintains accurate itemized inventory records and completes laundry forms.
-
Answers and Responds to linen calls within the hospital.
-
Cleans, maintains, and replenishes linen exchange carts in an orderly manner.
-
Unloads daily linen delivery from Contract Company carts to the linen room.
-
Maintains scrub pars for patient care areas on a daily basis.

Pulls reject linen from patient and ancillary care areas.
-
Maintain a clean linen storage area per regulatory standards.
-
Use material handling equipment to prevent injury to self or others.
-
Communicates with contract linen company driver regarding shortages or overages.
- Complies with Title 22 and DHS regulations in regard to the safe handling and distribution of patient care items.
